Hello everyone. My names Jessica Holt and I'm 28 years old. I originally grew up in the Bay area of California, Concord to be exact. I moved out to Omaha, NE about 4 years ago and it has really been a big change for me! I currently reside in Gretna, a small southwest suburb of Omaha, I live with my fiance Dan and our Siberian Husky pup Pandora, who is now almost 5 months old.
One day, I would love to open my own restaurant or catering business and I have just recently started to pursue my dream. In the beginning of this last September I started attending culinary school at Metro Community College. They have a wonderful culinary program there and this blog is going to help me keep my goal in mind and at the same time probably going to help me keep my sanity :)There is most likely going to be a very wide variety of things I will blog about here. I am going to try and focus the posts more on the culinary ventures of my life whether it be in the classroom, at home, or at a restaurant.
I think everyone loves to talk about good service and food they receive at a restaurant but I think this will also be helpful for the times when I need to vent about the BAD stuff as well. That's all for now!
